About Airlines Interviews

According to sources in the airline industry, an interview process may be lengthy, and generally involves more than one meeting. Usually, the recruitment procedure is very lengthy. It takes around six months from the submission of the resume till the time one gets recruited. For most of the airlines positions, there are two rounds of interviews.

For the human representative position in the airline industry, you have to meet a number of persons during your prolonged interview process. For a mechanical position, you have to go through three rounds of interviews. For flight attendants recruited in different airlines, group interview is an essential aspect of the recruitment process.

  • How do you like to work, individually or in a team?
  • Do you feel that it is necessary to spend the holidays with your loved ones?
  • Where would you like to see yourself after 5 years?
  • Are you a good team player, explain?
  • How do you react when annoyed?
  • Tell me about the most complex problem that you had faced within your last job. How did you solve it?
  • What is your most significant achievement till date?

Along with the interview process, you also have to go through a medical as well as psychological examination.

For most of the sectors, employment mostly depends on the economic condition and market situation. But as the population is increasing and people prefer air travel, you can expect the job opportunities to increase in the airlines field. It is predicted that primarily employment growth will be experienced in low budget and domestic airlines.
