The job of product promoter is to create interest in purchasing products such as cosmetic, house-wares, clothing, and food. Customers make choices based upon the information provided by product promoters. Product promoters motivate people and stores to buy a product. They demonstrate potential customers and answer their questions.

Product promoters generate sales of simple as well as sophisticated products ranging from computer software to mops. These promoters promote sales of a product to customers. Promoters draw attention of customers by offering samples, distributing prizes, administering contests, advertising, etc.

Product promoters inform customers about their products and demonstrate their use. They explain to customers the distinctive use of products. Product promoters distribute the information in form of brochures, booklets, and pamphlets. Work Environment
A product promoter has to work with models and demonstrators. Product promoters, models, and demonstrators work full-time as well part-time. The duration of the position of product promoter is six months or less. However, this occupation provides skilled candidates high remuneration.
