- Political scientists :-They study the origin and development of political policies and systems. They have to conduct research on the relationship of different countries, the political life of nation and their impact on human life.
- Geographers :- They study and analyze physical and cultural aspects on local regional and continental scales. Physical geographers study and compare the variations in climate, vegetation, and landforms and their impact on human life.
- Historians :- They research , analyze and record the past events. Their main work is to conduct research based on the past information from newspapers, films, photographs, interviews, and institutional records and other periodicals.

In the career as social scientists, most of the times master's degree is necessary. A Ph.D. is necessary for more responsible and higher-level jobs. On the other and, the candidates with a bachelor's degree may not qualify for all type of social scientists jobs. However, the candidates with a bachelor's degree and with knowledge of statistics and mathematics can get entry-level jobs like research assistants, writer, trainees, interns, or market analyst.
