Child care aides take care of children at day care facility. They are also hired by working parents to look after their kids in their absence at home. Their responsibility is to provide basic care from feeding meals at scheduled time, changing their diapers, giving them a bath, grooming, and teaching them basic lessons in English. The aides will also play with children and participate in games that can help cognitive and physical abilities in children. They have to ensure total safety for children and maintain good hygiene. If any child is allergic to something or under medication, the aides have to take extra care and avoid contact of children with those things as well as administer medicines.
