Medical Chart Auditor Resume

Patients in hospitals are treated as per their medical charts. These charts are prepared by the nurses under the direction of doctors. They have all the information related to patient's diagnosis and the current treatment being given. Any shortcoming in the preparation of the chart may change the line of treatment entirely. These auditors have the training to read and understand radiological, pathological, and other medical records. They are usually someone who hold a medical education either as a LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse).

To apply for a medical chart auditor position, a resume must present knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic and treatment procedures. It should also spell understanding of Medicare, and Medicaid, with billing process, and medical records auditing.
