Network support engineers design computer network as per users' requirements. These IT professional configure network, computers, hardware, and remote access systems. They install and connect printers, copiers, and faxes to the computers and maintain them regularly. The support engineers also have to monitor performance of the network systems and make changes as and when required. They are experts in troubleshooting problems related to computer network, local area networks, wide area networks, servers, and routers.

To work as a network support engineer, you have to complete a degree in computer science or information technology. In addition, a certification as Cisco Certified Network Associate is also required by employers.
