• Do you have any idea about our bank policies/ schemes/ charges/ interest rates?

  Ideally, you should have a rough idea regarding these details about the bank. You may be asked to discuss further about them. Thus, be prepared with your extensive research on the bank.

• What was the biggest challenge that you had to overcome?

  How did you deal with it? And, what was the result?

  Speak about a substantially big and challenging problem that you have had to face during your career. How you identified the problem, your approach towards it and how you managed to resolve it will be minutely evaluated.

• Have you ever had to experience sharing others' work load? How do you cope with such a situation?

  Having to share others' work load can be very stressful. It is an additional responsibility that you have to handle. Nevertheless, respond in such a way that it portrays you as a result oriented person.

• Why did you leave your previous organization?

  Employees quit organizations for better prospects in terms of work and money. While you can safely mention the career related reasons, avoid speaking in monetary terms. Similarly, avoid bringing in any negative aspect of your previous job. Bad mouthing your ex-boss or colleagues will create a bad impression.

• What do you think about the current banking sector scenario in our country?

  You should first know the current scenario to form an opinion about it. Thus, your general awareness about the banking and finance sector will be put to test.

• Where do you see yourself five years hence?

  In today's dynamic conditions, it is difficult to predict where you see yourself in five years. But while answering to this question, you can safely assume still being associated with this bank. You can say that you see yourself scaling new heights in this bank and accepting new challenges.

• Have you had to personally resolve any customer query? What was it? And, how did you help in resolving the issue?

  Having to resolve any customer problems involves a lot of efforts on the part of the employee. Mention an experience with a customer, where your involvement helped in straightening out the issues.
