War is a crucial measure any country takes when the level of misunderstanding between them has crossed the limits. Army comes in hand during this time. They help the country fight for its rights risking their live to save ours. There are a lot of opportunities available in the field of army. Let us have a look at some of these.
Career Opportunities
The whole army and the military system in general are organized in an extremely rigorous manner. Everybody knows his role and his duties. All the things are done with a precise scope. Just in the same way are the established job openings. There are the combatants always ready to go on the front and face the enemy lines, fighting and risking their lives for defending their country. There are the engineers, responsible with all the equipments, weapons, systems and computers. There are the logistics, who are constantly supplying the people on the front with equipments, ammunition, food, water and other things for general use. There are the IT specialists who provide specialized software for assuring communication and information between allies and espionage for the enemies. There are the people working at human resources responsible with recruiting and training specialists and soldiers. There are the medical personnel to take care of the injured people in the whole process. And last but not least, there are the musicians we see at every single ceremonial.
Ranks
I have previously mentioned about the rigorous structure that the army has. This structure is extremely important just because it helps everybody to know their statute, their roles and responsibilities. It's better for the coordination of the whole process and it also works as an incentive for all the personnel because a perfect conduit is rewarded with the advancement in rank. As a general rule, ranks can be divided into two major categories: the ones for soldiers and the ones for officers.
Speaking about soldiers, the hierarchy starts with the private, being the newly entrant in the system and ends up with the Regimental sergeant major, a rank you cannot reach if you have under 18 years of practice. And between all these there are: the lance corporal, the corporal, the sergeant, the staff sergeant, and the company sergeant major.
As for the officer's ranks, there are: the officer cadet, the second lieutenant, the lieutenant, the captain, the major and the lieutenant colonel, from the lower position to the highest one.
