First Grade Teacher Cover Letter

Your first grade teacher cover letter is like your passport for getting you an interview; it is like your initial handshake with the interviewer. Therefore, you will have to write the cover letter accordingly. According to the standard format, your cover letter should start with address, date, employers address and a greeting. As far as the content of the letter is concerned, keep it only up to three-four paragraphs and do not exceed it for more than a page.

The opening paragraph of your letter should be treated as an introduction of yourself to the employer and add details like who you are, how you came across this job opening, why you are interested and how are you the best candidate. However, make sure that relate with the statements of the qualifications that have been mentioned in the job description. The first paragraph should only answer the question, "Why I am writing?"

The second paragraph is the place where the real content of your letter should be and where you need to give more detailed examples of your qualifications and how well you can relate with the position. In this paragraph, you not only have to tell the employer that you are the best candidate, but also give them some examples and evidence supporting the same. Relate all your experience and skills that would be beneficial to this position and highlight some strong points. Always be specific about your experience and why you want to work for that organization. This paragraph should answer the question, "Who I am, and why you should be hiring me?"

The third paragraph is the place where you will tie your entire cover letter together. Mention your interest and mention how you will do a follow-up for that position. Make sure that you have mentioned your contact information and ask the employer to refer to your resume. Always remember that you have to ensure that your interest in the position is clearly evident. The last paragraph should answer the question, "What will be my next step?"
