The responsibilities of a supply chain analyst is to understand the shipping procedures, and locate and fix loopholes by planning and implementing efficient shipping strategies. He has to ensure that the dispatched goods reach customers in time. The person will also check the inventory and guide the warehouse personnel to stock the goods in a systematic order. The jobholder will also maintain records of the goods ordered, dispatched, and required to be refilled. The analyst will also study the supply and demand statistics to ensure that the company does not stock unwanted goods and run out of the goods in demand. The daily activities the analyst will be involved on the job is coordinating with the shipping supervisors, warehouse personnel, production, sales, and logistic teams. His duty is also to track the shipment and check if the right order is dispatched to the consignee.
