Design Assistant help design manager with development of product line by managing technical aspects of the product development process. They observe or check product specifications from product development stages. Design assistant update and maintain patterns and existing specs in Illustrator and Gerber. They are also responsible for analyzing and learning new styles construction from Design Manager and Senior Product Designer. He or she also maintains strong communications with the operations team. They provide answers to overseas and domestic vendors.
Design assistant records and track the outgoing and incoming sample including factory counter samples, photo samples, original prototypes and test samples. They create presentation boards, linelists and calendars. They also do sort, selection and organization of style trend information and components for new products.
