Associate director have two major roles such as administration and research. Administrative duties include organization and management of projects, lectures, websites, internship programs, publications, fundraising etc. They may do work of research during the balance of the week and for this work they does not require the presence in the office. Associate director also works for school to develop and maintain close working relationships with basic type of secondary school. On behalf of the college, they need to travel for recruitment and other college related events. They help in the development, completing and maintenance of communication plans of department to admitted students.
Associate director is also responsible for maintaining and developing the recruitment and marketing plan of the office. They are responsible for completing admission decisions on applicant files. Associate director supervises the support staff of the department. Statistical reports are also developed and checked by them to make sure about recruitment strategies, forecasting, yield management and operational efficiency.
