Funeral director is responsible for arranging funeral and funeral services. They work in funeral homes where the bodies are kept for burning or cremation. Some of funeral directors are having their own funeral homes also. Funeral director is also called as undertakers or morticians.

Funeral director arranges all the things including movement of body to the funeral room. They discuss with the family to give details of the funeral service. Funeral family helps family to manage or set the time for burial. They are responsible for keeping contact with cemetery officials, newspapers and clergy after completing the planning.
