He or she is responsible for transporting thousands of passengers per day. Bus operator must be having strong customer service skills and safe driving record. Bus operator need to work for forty hour of weeks and even on holidays also. They are responsible for transporting passengers as assigned by the supervisor. They are responsible for reporting breakdowns, interruptions in service and other information. They operate vehicle in a safe manner and obey with appropriate state, company rules and local laws and regulations. Bus operator also attends safety or periodic meetings. The candidate for this position must be having minimum high school diploma and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

Bus driver operator position is very safety sensitive position and candidate must posses a valid Driving license with good driving record for this position. They maintain vehicle operating records and inspects vehicle to report defects. Keep vehicle clean and tidy. They provide all information or answers passenger's questions regarding to Bus service.
