Press Operator Resume

Press operator is responsible for running a printing press and operating a press. There are various types of printing presses and press operator jobs. Press operators operate machine or equipments and set up in producing the quality parts per product orders, blueprints and per engineering specifications. He or she can take reference of other production order to determine types, sizes and quantities of product to be produced. They are responsible for setting, operating and maintaining the machine or equipment for engineer's specifications and production orders. Regularly loads, unloads and give proper place for materials or parts.

They operate machines in production of quality products and along with this they also monitors programs, machines and other equipment to avoid damage. If there is any major mechanical problem with equipment, then press operator is responsible for informing supervisor and maintenance personnel. However, they solve minor problems themselves. They make sure about the best process for cleaning the equipment and replacing worn bits as needed. Responsible for other duties as assigned.
