A compensation analyst is entrusted with the responsibility of deciding the remuneration package of the employees. Remuneration includes monetary rewards and other complementary benefits. Determining the compensation package is a complex process. It involves analysis of the responsibilities and skills required for a job, prevailing market conditions, experience requirements, legal obligations, etc. While determining the compensation packages for different positions to be filled through promotion, the performance and trait appraisals are also needed to be considered.
