Work Requirements

Educational Qualifications: Recruiters expect at least a Bachelor's Degree with the candidate during the recruitment process. The areas where they need to be competent are accountancy, finance, economics, and stocks markets. Candidates with Master's Degree have better prospects and are eligible to work with the higher management.

Licensures: Candidates must enroll their names at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority as representative of their financial consultant. They are expected to pass the General Securities Registered Representatives Examination. Besides there are other licenses required to purchase and sell securities.

Skills: The skills required for equity work include math, ability to make quick calculation and analysis of the market, analytical and data interpretation qualities, communication skills, and ability to coordinate with associates at multiple levels.
