In the airline field, one of the most popular and challenging jobs above all is the pilot's job. A pilot is a professional who has been trained and licensed to fly airplanes and helicopters, for the transportation of people, goods or services from place to place. In order to become a pilot, a person needs to be trained under certified pilot training institute which will eventually provide the pilot with a license that will allow him/her to enter in the profession. Besides the usual airplane pilot that we all know about, there are other types of pilot jobs and here are a few examples.

Helicopter Pilot

A helicopter pilot has the duty to operate a helicopter effectively and safely while transporting passengers or merchandise from one place to another. The actions of helicopter pilot must be made according to the laws of flight. Such a pilot can find a job in many domains, such as medical transportation, news team, movie making and law enforcement.

Agricultural Pilot

An agricultural pilot, also called spray plane pilot, is the one that flies around farm fields or forests dropping chemical liquids over the crop. Spray plane pilots fly at low levels with heavy loads and they must avoid power lines, fences, trees and other obstacles. Because of this, agricultural pilots must have excellent flying skills, decision-making skills and the ability to interpret and plan flights, good concentration and communication abilities because they will deal with various people. They must have a good memory as well, in order to remember flight paths, and check the land before they apply products.

Commercial Pilot

A commercial pilot must have the ability to plan flight routes and navigate using the proper instruments. He/she must communicate with air traffic controllers or various airports while flying. A commercial pilot works irregular hours and because of this, he/she spends a lot of time away from home. Commercial pilots must have a college degree related to flying, but they can also gain experience in the military or flight schools. Even after receiving licenses, pilots must continue their education and obtain more training and eventually, they can become certified commercial pilots. The job's benefits include health and life insurance and retirement benefits.

Military Pilot

Whoever joins the military in any division must have a great deal of dedication and there are only a few jobs available for the top candidates. A military helicopter pilot is one of these jobs. Military helicopters fly in dangerous situations or transport important officials and because of this, the pilot has to be extremely qualified in order to be considered for the job. It is a big dream for many to be military pilots because they are at the top of the flight line. Even when they are still in school, students who prepare themselves to be military pilots are getting the best treatment, best training, and are flying the fastest and the most advanced aircrafts.
