The responsibility is considerably high because driving a truck is more difficult than driving a van or a small car. The salary is established according to their mileage, from 19 to 44 cents for every single mile, depending on the company they work for. The CDL license is mandatory for getting this job, but a lot of other tests are included, like the tanker one or the hazardous materials transporting test.
