Preparation
- Research
Research is the first part of any weblogic interview effort. You should divide this research phase in to three parts.
Part one is the company. The candidates should be aware of some general details about the company such as its mission statement, major products, services, clients and competitors, recent mention in news media, working environment, culture, etc.
Part two is the job. This includes the job specification and required qualifications, what would your actual task would be within the company, which platform would you be working on and which tools would you be using, Future growth prospects etc.
The third part is the interview itself. It's very important from the preparation point of view, to know the structure of the interview, the types of questions that would be asked etc. This can significantly change how you'll prepare for the interview. For a simple example if the interview would involve writing code on paper and you have so far been using an IDE when programming you'll be in a tight spot more than likely.
- Resume
After research you should be aware of the parts of your resume that are more important and relevant for the job in question. Make sure that they are emphasized. If there are points on your resume that are not relevant to the job and you don't have a good command on them you may consider removing them out right. During preparation make short note in a word file or notebook. Keep them organized and intelligible. They'll be good for a quick review and useful for future interviews as well. Keep them short but detailed enough that someone else can understand them as well.

"Practice makes a man perfect!" This is especially true when learning a language, programming, scripting or otherwise. You should practice solving test problems. If there is a possibility that you'll be asked to code without an IDE, practice coding on a simple text editor or even using pen and paper.

Your answers should be short and easy to understand. Do not answer in yes and no but don't elaborate with being specifically asked either. If the answer to the question asked is long. Take some time to organize your thoughts and divide the answer in parts. It's a good idea to mention the high points and elaborate only when asked.
If you don't know the answer to some question, admit it and move on. If you have prepared properly there would be other question that you know the answers of. If you can't remember the technical specifics such as the actual syntax mention the underlying concept.
