Geoscientist

A career as geoscientist might involve searching for natural resources like groundwater, metals and petroleum. In addition, they may also help environmental scientists to preserve the environment. Qualifications:-
To become a geoscientist a master's degree in geology or earth's science is enough most of the times. A Ph.D. is necessary for most high level research and college teaching job. A bachelor's degree can also be considered for entry level jobs in a geologist career, but a master's degree is preferred for most of the geologist jobs. Knowledge of physics, chemistry, biology, engineering, mathematics, or computer science could also be beneficial in a career as geoscientist.

Most of the times a geologist have to travel abroad for their work, so knowledge of secondary language is also beneficial.
• They should have logical and analytical approach towards the assignments.
• Computer skills are also needed for geoscientists with experience in computer modeling, data analysis and integration, remote sensing and digital mapping. So that geoscientists can easily excel in their career.

Work place:-
Most of the times geologist job involves field work. In labs, geologists study the physical and chemical properties of specimens. Some others spend their time in office, but most of them divide their time in field and half the time in office. Thus, in the career as geoscientist, most of the times they need to travel and at fieldwork, they need to work for long hours.
