A gymnastics coach works in a school, college, or private gymnasium and trains people enthusiastic about the sport. He works with young children in the age group from 4 and with youngsters from 16 to 20 years old. As such, he has to be comfortable in working with gymnasts of all ages. Since gymnastics is a sport that requires good strength and stamina, he must be experienced in different forms of ground and gym exercises.
