Death Investigator Resume

Death investigators are professionals with a forensic degree who investigate the cause of death. They are also called medicolegal death investigator. They mostly investigate death occurred under mysterious circumstances and due to accidents, or when the relatives of deceased demand investigation. They are trained to analyze dead bodies, search for trauma, scan crime scenes, interpret the body positioning, and create a visual representation of the crime. Their sole purpose is to determine whether the death is natural or brought upon the victim deliberately. In case they suspect a foul play, they file a criminal case against unknown suspect and lead the investigation.

To work as a death investigator, you must have thorough knowledge of forensic science. Collecting blood samples, examining scars or marks of hurt on the dead bodies, conducting autopsy procedures, and using safety procedures for preserving evidence and preventing witnesses are the day-to-day tasks of the job.
