Dear Mr. Harry,

Re: Game Artist Position

As per our telephonic conversation yesterday, I am writing this letter to apply for the position of Game Artist, as advertised on www.seek.com on Friday 1 August.

Gaming is my passion, and I would like to take this opportunity for getting involved in this industry. I have completed my education in interactive course in games programming with QATNM College. During the complete course of my studies, I have developed some skills in modeling, texturing and the game mechanics as well, which you find in the attached reel of my work. You can view further examples of my work on www.monicaworks.com

My six-month internship with Zynga Games gave me excellent experience in developing games. I have honed my animation skills as a games assistant animator with a game known as Bad World, which has won the award for Best Interactive Game in Florida.

Currently, I am writing a weekly feature on the gaming industry for the Games World magazine and have got enough experience in writing for publications, which have given me a complete knowledge of the complete functioning of this industry.

If you wish to speak to them, my past employers will be happy to discuss my passion, work ethics and qualifications. I am sure that my experience, interest and skills in games will make me an asset for your organization and I am excited to get this opportunity in working with you.

Thank you so much for taking your time and considering my application and show reel. I await the opportunity for working with you and discussing my suitability for the role of an interview.

Sincerely,
Monica Bell
