A speech therapist cover letter does not guarantee that you will be appointed for the job without being interviewed. Generally, a cover letter comprises four sections. First is the introductory part wherein you have to write your name, complete postal address, telephone number and e-mail id. This is followed by name and address of the recruiter along with the name of the organization you are applying for. Next section is the subject or reference line in which you need to write subject of the letter, usually "Application for XXXX job in XXXX newspaper/magazine/job portal". The following section is where you address the recruiter as "Dear" or "Respected". In the first paragraph of the cover letter, state how you came to know about the job and how keen you are to work for the organization. In the second paragraph describe your experience, skills and qualifications for this profession. The third paragraph should ideally present a note of thanks to the recruiter and a statement that you expect a positive response. To close the letter, use "Sincerely", "Yours sincerely" or "Regards" followed by your name and signature.
