Picker Cover Letter

If you draft a picker cover letter along with your picker resume then you will surely benefit more in comparison to other people looking for a job in the same profile. A cover letter is written to tell the employer why you are interested in working with his organization. Cover letter can serve an important asset for you at the initial level of your recruitment process. Most of the times it is really difficult to get an interview call from the employers. So many applications are piled up with employers every day that they rarely find time to go through each and everyone's resume. A cover letter can prove to be a boon for you in such situations.

Picker Job Description

Pickers who are generally called as order pickers or order fillers work in the warehouses and help in the shipment of the products in the warehouse. These people have to pick order from the customers and arrange them properly depending upon the location and collect the products and ship them to appropriate pallets. These pallets are then transported to the transporting vehicles that deliver these products to the customers. Picker's job is not that easy as you think as they have to be very careful while shipping the products. They may either use lists to sort out the products or somebody may guide them on telephone. Order pickers or order fillers have to report on daily basis to the warehouse supervisor.
