Compensation analysts are responsible for preparing an attractive compensation and benefits package in order to retain skilled employees. They have to ensure that employees are paid according to their skills and are happy working with the company. They do this human resource function by collecting payroll data and researching on the salary and benefits offered for the same skills by other companies in similar business. These analyst also conduct internal and external survey to ascertain no discrepancies in salary structures.
