Level 2 Nurse Resume
Level 2 nurses are also known as intermediate care nurses or special care nursery nurse. Based on their specialization, they could serve either pediatric or geriatric patients. However, most of the level 2 nurses are associated with the neonatal care. These nurses are responsible to supplement the babies with oxygen, IVs and specialized feedings or elongated hospital stays for ensuring that baby is mature to survive.
Neonatal nurses need to complete their degree in nursing like any other nurse. However, they also need to get themselves registered by clearing the national licensing exam. This exam will let the nurse practice nursing in their state. Along with this, a neonatal nurse also needs to have a certification in neonatal resuscitation provider.
