Bank Receptionist Resume

A bank receptionist shoulders the responsibilities of projecting the bank's services and products in a way that attract people for banking. She is the only person through which customer service can be judged due to being the first person to contact and approach. Whether a customer is calling or visiting the bank, it is the receptionist with whom he will speak and meet first. Based on the reason of call and visit, he will be directed by the receptionist to the concerned department/personnel. Though she may not have the complete detail of customers' accounts, she is in a position to answer basic or general queries. The bank receptionist is the one who can turn customers experience of banking with the financial institution into positive or negative.

The regular duties of this job position is greeting and making customers feel welcomed to the institution. The receptionist has to lend a patient ears to queries of people and guide them appropriately. She has to be informed about the policies and procedures of the bank as well as implement them when interacting with customers. Besides attending customers over phone and in person, handling clerical and secretarial duties are also daily responsibilities of the receptionist.
