Also known as audio engineers, sound engineers work on the technical aspects of sound and are a vital member of the music industry. They are responsible for creating sound effects for music production, and they do so by mixing and reproducing different sound or piece of music. They work with electronic tools like equalizer and manipulate sound to the desired effect. These engineers work in music industry, concerts, for radios, film, television, and theater.

Sound engineers assist musicians and record producers and give their work the kind of effect they desire. Besides studio, they work outdoor as well and assist to design and control sound at public/private conferences, movie theater. Simply put, wherever there is a need to project sound to the audience, their skills are utilized. Those working in this field often come from diverse backgrounds.
