A fitness trainer is in charge of performing various exercises and help people stay motivated. A trainer may work in different places, because most of the fitness trainers work part-time in more than one location. Trainers can work in different places, starting with health clubs and gyms, and ending with hotels and resorts. Before they can work legally, trainers must get a license, and in other cases, there are other special certification courses to help trainers get their license while learning another specialty like Pilates or yoga, which requires more training. Fitness trainers are very flexible with the setting of work hours and structuring their programs. The physical aspect of fitness trainers is important since they are those who are in charge of motivating others to stay healthy and fit. They must have an agreeable figure that inspires people. A formal education such as a bachelor degree in physical education or kinesiology will definitely attract more clients. It is estimated that fitness trainer job openings may increase in the next years.
