GIS Analyst Cover Letter

A GIS (Geographic Information System) analyst is a person who is responsible for creating maps that contains inter and international borders, environmental resources and transportation networks. These maps are made by using some of the highly specialized computer software. The GIS analyst will manage and supervise the work of their subordinate GIS specialists.

These professionals often have to meet clients and decide on the needs of the community. Moreover, along with the computer software that is designed for GIS representation, the GIS manager will have to use mathematical functions like vector conversion, geometric spheres and real analysis for creating geographical maps. GIS analysts needs to have exceptionally good mathematical skills.
