An appointment letter is written to tell some one that he/she is selected for a job position. This letter is a formal letter that announces your entry into the organization. While writing letter of this type always use a positive tone that helps to build a relationship with the newly appointed employee.

Dear Mr. Wilson:

At the beginning, let me congratulate you for being selected for the position of Marketing Manager in our company Glen mark Pharmaceuticals. You have to join the company on May 1, 2007 at our Texas Office. You will be on probation for three months then you will become our permanent employee.

Your compensation package will be $ 50,000 per annum. You will receive your monthly salary on the last working day of the month. There will be performance review after every six months and salary revision once a year. You have to work for 40 hours per week. You will get overtime if you work for more hours than stipulated time.
